In Tasmania, there is not an official animal emblem which is decided. However, Tasmanian devil will be considered and possibly become official animal. Tasmanian devil is an iconic symbol of Tasmania. Many Tasmanian business and products use it in their brands and logos. It can be become a kind of referenced information to prove Tasmanian devil’s importance.

Tasmanian devil is the largest carnivorous marsupials in Australia. In the early time, it could be found in everywhere in Australia. However, following foreign people came in Australia and taken place for developing civilization of human. The carnivorous marsupials began to become a kind of extinct animals in Australia. It only can be found in Tasmania.

The habitat of Tasmanian devil is wooded countryside, in forests and towns’ suburbs in Tasmania. The color of devil’s hair is black. There is a white line on its chest and rump. Its appearance likes a medium sized solid dog.
