If you know the country of Australia,
you will know a land named Tasmania. It is a sole state of island in Australia.
Due to Australia isone colony of
British, the Australian flag and the Tasmanian flag have similar parts with
British flag. Tasmanian flag likes a modified British blue ensign. Union Jack
is in the upper left quarter in Tasmanian flag. It expresses the relationship
between Tasmania and England. There is a white dish and a red lion is centred
in the white dish in the right part of Tasmanian flag. The red fimbriate and
passant lion symbolizes imperial household of England.

In 1642, the first flag was raised in Tasmania is Dutch flag. In 1803, the Union Jack’s flagstaff was inserted at Risdon Cove. Due to Tasmania had independent government in 1856, the first Tasmanian governor’s flag was appeared in 1869, but this flag was become normal Tasmanian flag still 1975. There is a interested episode is on 1875’s birthday of Prince named Wales, a new flag with Union Jack, white cross and stars was appeared and it did not obeyed rules of British.
